Thursday, November 26, 2026 will feature a traditional Thanksgiving spread from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with table seatings from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The weather is sure to be crisp, the fires will be roaring - and the cuisine will be abundant, including...

On Saturday, September 5, 2026, Evins Mill hosts its annual Labor Day Cookout. Hors d'oeuvres are available as early as 6:00 while the cookout begins at 7:00. Guests are invited to book a room or make reservations for dinner-only. Bluegrass Cookout ~ Sat, Jul 4, '26

On Friday & Saturday, July 3 & 4, the town of Smithville hosts the 55th Annual Fiddlers' Jamboree, one of country's premier bluegrass music competitions. Just a few minutes from the Dekalb County Courthouse where the hoedown takes place, Evins Mill is a convenient springboard for the festival - as well as a cool escape from the heat - and a relaxing destination for great meals, outdoor adventure, and overnight accommodations.

To that end, the resort is hosting its own annual Bluegrass Cookout from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. that same Saturday. In a salute to mothers, and all the women who give us strength, we are hosting our Mother's Day Special from Saturday, May 9 to Sunday, May 10, when we invite families to treat their matriarch not only to a Mother's Day Brunch but to an extended respite from maternal responsibilities the night before. As part of this special, a family of up to five may stay for the price of one couple.

That stay includes appetizers, dinner, and s'mores around our firepit Saturday night, followed by our storied Mother's Day Bunch the next morning. As always, our chefs will prepare for special dietary restrictions, including kid-friendly dinners.

Mother's Day Brunch ~ Sun, May 10, '26

Evins Mill is hosting its annual Mother's Day Brunch on Sunday, May 10. The buffet, carving station, and dessert station are available from 10:30 to 1:30, with seatings scheduled in half-hour intervals.

Luncheon attire is "dressy casual," though we invite guests to bring a change of clothes and stick around should they want to hike to Carmac Falls. Hiking shoes or not, don't forget your appetite, for as always the menu is extensive...
