To that end, from Fri, Dec 19 through Sat, Jan 3 (excluding Christmas Eve, Christmas & NYE) as part of our Winter Break Special, it is also complimentary for high school age children and younger.

For families remaining close to home this winter break but looking for some local adventure, Evins Mill features a variety of family-friendly activities, including...

• self-guided hikes to the overlooks and base of Carmac Falls
• lawn games, including corn hole, ring toss, horse shoes and ladder golf
• game hall, including billiards, ping pong, darts and foosball

We invite you to celebrate the year that was and the one that will be in the festive yet intimate setting of Evins Mill. While the NYE package includes two nights' accommodation, the main attraction is of course the New Year's Eve festivities Wednesday evening. Featuring enhanced turn-down service, an extra robust menu as outlined below, and live entertainment, our New Year's Eve Package also includes a hearty New Year's Day Brunch on Thursday morning.  

New Year's Eve Menu

Heavy Hors d'oeuvres

• red curry, coconut mussels
• baby back ribs
• Kenny's Farmhouse cheese board

Soup & Bread

• butternut squash bisque with a variety of hot rolls

Salad

• sweet and sour apples with cashews, dried cranberries, and pomegranate vinaigrette

Sorbet

• blood orange and fresh herbs with sparkling wine

Entrees

• Beef Tenderloin, slow smoked and carved to order; served with Bourbon cream sauce
• Atlantic Salmon, hot smoked with our millstone dry rub; served with cranberry chutney
• Each entre is accompanied by caramelized onion, potato gratin and rainbow carrots

Desserts

• Dessert Buffet will take place following dinner and include our traditional coconut rice pudding, favorite pies, dark chocolate truffles, macaroons, homemade kettle corn, and maybe a surprise or two!

On Saturday, August 30, 2025, Evins Mill hosts its annual Labor Day Cookout. Hors d'oeuvres are available as early as 6:00 while the cookout begins at 7:00. Guests are invited to book a room or make reservations for dinner-only. Whether you stay over or come just for dinner, come with an appetite, for the menu as always is as expansive as it will be tasty...
