Kenny's Cheese Tasting ~ Sat, Jun 23, '18


We're big fans of Kentucky-based Kenny's Cheese, which produces some of the best cheese around, is a major source of the cheese we serve, and is a favorite among our guests and staff alike! As such, we're pleased to host our first Kenny's Cheese Tasting on Sat, Jun 23.

The event begins with a 6:00 p.m. social hour, when Kenny's Cheese proprietors Kenny & Barbara will mix and mingle with guests, share the story of their farm, and sample a variety of their cheeses. A festive, Kenny's Cheese-inspired dinner will follow and will feature....

Appetizers
Kenny’s Cheese Board variety with grilled fruit, homemade pickles, and various breads and crackers

Soup 
Caramelized vidalia onion with reserve cheddar crisps

Salad
Warm brie, toasted almonds, bibb lettuce and citrus/whole grain mustard vinaigrette

Entrée
Beef Tenderloin with horseradish, Kentucky blue sauce or Citrus Braised Duck with fresh fruit, chilies chutney

Sides
Peppercorn Asiago Potato Gratin and Farmer’s Market Ratatouille


Dessert
Fromage Blanc Tart with homemade salted caramel and fresh summer berries

The Kenny's Cheese Package includes...

Memorial Weekend Cookout ~ Sat, May 26, '18


Evins Mill is hosting a Memorial Holiday Cookout on Saturday, May 26, in conjunction with our first Music at the Mill concert of 2018. Hors d'oeuvres are available as early as 6:00 while the cookout begins at 6:30, followed by an 8:00 concert, featuring the music of Tim Buppert. Guests are welcome to book a room or make reservations for the dinner & concert only. Whether you stay over or come just for the night, come with an appetite, for the menu as always is as expansive as it will be tasty...

Our "Music at the Mill" concert series features the acoustic music of accomplished singer-songwriter Tim Buppert. Having written songs and/or sung them on albums for Trisha Yearwood, Michael Peterson and Kevin Sharp among other well-known artists, Tim has several top ten songs to his name and will be performing them and others in an informal, writer-in-the-round format following dinner.

The overnight package includes hors d'oeuvres, cookout, concert, one-night's accommodation & full breakfast and is $315 to $405 depending on the room. The cookout/concert-only package is $65/guest, while the hors d'oeuvres/concert-only package is $20/guest. Sodas, bottled waters & alcoholic beverages are available but not included.
